The R-Type Live Production Console is Cadac's answer to touring sophistication, contained within a cost-efficient and easily re-configurable package.

The R-Type Live Production Console is Cadac's answer to touring sophistication, contained within a cost-efficient and easily re-configurable package. Designed for fast installation, the console combines touring ruggedness with the legendary Cadac audio quality and reliability, providing comprehensive facilities for both FOH and monitor mixing. A major benefit for rental companies is the ability to re-configure the console exactly to match each tour's specification and budget - using Cadac's unique "plug-anywhere" modules.

With the R-Type, a single 24-slot frame can be configured to handle a small venue or gig easily - with larger consoles being assembled out of multiples of the 24-way frame up to any size required. For example, a FOH console for an awards production or multi-talent show may require anywhere up to or even beyond 180-200 inputs. This is easily achievable by adding additional frames of the required style of inputs. As the standard frames are less than 1m wide, they can be easily arranged in an ergonomic form around the mix position. A typical configuration with the R-Type's lightweight 24-slot frame provides 48 mono & 3 stereo inputs, a full output section plus dedicated LCR outputs and 16 DC Masters.
